16th August 2009 - New Kit & Shorts Templates for Update 2.0
As part of our efforts to adjust kit templates to actual real kits, we have added two new adidas kit templates.

The first kit is a three colour shirt consisting of the adidas
Adidas Tiro template.

The second kit is a two colour shirt very similar to the adidas Adidas Tiro template with the exception of left hand shoulder part of the kit being the alternate colour and also going down the side as well. This kit template replaces the previous adidas kit template shown on 28th June 2009.

15th August 2009 - Windows 7 (32-bit & 64-bit) Compatibility
+ With the new Windows OS coming up later this year, we ran a few tests to witness how well Sensible Soccer 2006 performs on the upcoming OS.

In both Windows 7 32-bit & 64-bit versions the game runs perfectly with both nVidia and ATI graphics cards.

In order to use the full anti-aliasing
settings, Sensible Soccer 2006 must be configured to run in the compatibility mode.

To do this, just locate the installation directory and right click on the game .exe, selecting Properties from the menu.

Select the Compatibility tab, and select the "Disable desktop composition" setting option.

11th May 2009 - Windows 7 (32-bit & 64-bit) Compatibility
With the new Windows OS coming up later this year or early next year, we ran a few tests and saw how Sensible Soccer 2006 fares on the upcoming OS.

Sensible Soccer 2006 on Windows 7 32-bit had with no issues whatsoever.

After installing Windows 7 RC (Version 7100) 64-bit, the great news is that Sensible Soccer runs flawlessly on all resolutions and there are no control issues so far using joypads.

There were some issues that are likely to be resolved soon, namely the anti-aliasing that seems to be buggy on nVidia cards with the latest 64-bit beta driver 185.85 for Windows 7 dated (6.5.2009). Usually the problem materializes as a black screen after the game launch if anti-aliasing is enabled, although the background music is audible. So far the curious thing about it is that it does not always occur indicating that the drivers have a larger portion of the blame than the OS.

However since the drivers are still in beta, such issues are likely to be overcome in the future and we will let you know asap.

We also found that compatibility is improved if on multiple monitor systems the anti-aliasing option is turned on but only one monitor is activated (with the rest being temporary deactivated through windows display properties).

Also note that setting the compatibility of the Sensible soccer exe file to an earlier system does not bare fruit as it makes the exe file crash and not willing to respond at its boot screen when one chooses to alter the 'settings' tab.
